The pouch is lined in smooth fleece, so your pet is not sitting on scratchy pile. You also get a hood with drawcords, ribbed cuffs, and zipped side pockets that actually hold a phone.

For the hair, run it through the dryer on no heat for ten minutes before you wash it. Most of it ends up in the lint trap instead of matted into the pile. Skip fabric softener, it flattens the sherpa.
